
Natalya Mason BSW, MA, RSW (she/her) is a sexual health educator and social worker who was born and raised in Saskatoon, SK. She is a Black first-generation Canadian, and a settler on Treaty Six Territory. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the U of S, a BSW from the U of R, and an M.A. in Women’s, Gender, and Sexualities Studies. Natalya works at the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Medicine in the Division of Social Accountability. She is a lifelong member of the Girl Guides of Canada, and is dedicated to social justice and reproductive rights for women and girls. She spent eight years as the Education Coordinator at Saskatoon Sexual Health providing presentations to over 10,000 learners across Saskatchewan. She currently makes contributions to field of sexual health as a consultant, having worked with numerous organizations like Sexual Assault Services of Saskatchewan, SIECCAN, and Durex. She is a queer feminist living in contradiction, committed to continuous learning and unlearning.
Join Natalya Mason as she moderates conversations with self-advocates who will discuss their lived experiences relating to disability, sexual health, dating, relationships, education, rights, and much more. These riveting discussions will take place on both days of the event and will leave you with a new perspective on sexuality and disability, as told by community members. Listening to, consulting with, and hearing from people with disabilities is essential as they are the true experts on disability, and learning about their first-hand experiences is invaluable.
